TERMS & CONDITIONS
To The Peak – General Terms and Conditions
1. General Event Information
To The Peak is an event taking place in Bolzano on 10 September 2026 (the "Event"). Access to the Event is subject to these general terms and conditions.
Within the Event, certain sessions, activities and side events may be subject to separate access requirements, space, location, safety, registration or organizational limitations.
Peakstart Solutions S.r.l. or the relevant organizing entity indicated on the Event website acts as organizer of the Event (the "Organizer" or "Peakstart").
2. Ticket Types and Admission Policy
Access to To The Peak is strictly permitted only upon presentation of a valid, non-transferable admission ticket purchased via official channels.
Any permitted refund, where applicable, will cover the ticket face value only. Booking fees, payment processing fees and any additional services are non-refundable where permitted by law.
Resale through unofficial channels is prohibited and may result in invalidation of the ticket.
There are four ticket categories, each granting specific access rights:
- Startup Ticket — Event access, afterparty, matchmaking tool, and 1:1 table reservations.
- VIP Investor / Corporate Ticket — Event access, afterparty, matchmaking tool, 1:1 table reservations, and exclusive business dinner.
- Regular Investor / Corporate Ticket — Event access, afterparty, matchmaking tool, and 1:1 table reservations.
- Future Founder Ticket — Event access and afterparty.
3. Ticket Eligibility and Verification
Tickets must be purchased according to the attendee's actual professional status. Startups must purchase a Startup Ticket; corporates and investors must purchase a Corporate Ticket (VIP or Regular); individuals, students and aspiring founders must purchase a Future Founder Ticket.
If a ticket does not match the attendee's actual professional status, access may be denied. The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, allow entry only upon payment of the required upgrade.
No refund will be issued for tickets purchased at a higher price than the category for which the attendee is eligible, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
Attendees may be subject to security checks, bag inspections, ID verification and badge scanning. The Organizer may refuse admission or remove attendees for safety reasons, misconduct, intoxication, counterfeit tickets or violation of these Terms.
4. Capacity Limits and Side Events
Certain sessions, workshops, masterclasses, hikes, wine tastings, investor-related activities, invitation-only activities, competitions, hackathons, sports activities or any other side events may have limited capacity and may require separate registration.
Participation in side events requires Peakstart's approval and is subject to availability.
Enrollment to certain side events is subject to and may be done only with the use of the Matchmaking tool, defined in article 10.
Peakstart may reject any participation request for availability, safety, economic, topic-related, attendance-related or other reasons it considers applicable to the relevant side event.
Rejection from, or inability to access, a side event does not give rise to any claim, refund or other request. Side events may take place from 9 to 11 September 2026 and, where applicable, are subject to these Terms.
Participants in hikes, sports activities, wine tastings or similar activities acknowledge that such activities may involve inherent risks and are responsible for assessing their physical condition, health status and suitability to participate.
5. Code of Conduct
- All attendees must behave in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
- Be respectful to all participants, speakers, exhibitors and staff.
- Offensive, inappropriate or discriminatory language or behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Any conduct that disturbs the Event or violates these rules may result in immediate removal without refund.
- Participants must comply with reasonable instructions issued by the Organizer, venue staff, security personnel or public authorities.
6. Media Release, Privacy and Use of Image
The Event may be photographed, filmed and recorded by the Organizer and accredited media for event documentation, security management and marketing or promotional purposes.
By attending the Event and/or purchasing a ticket, attendees acknowledge that photos and video recordings may include their image and authorize the use and publication of such image, including online and on social media, for purposes related to To The Peak.
No compensation will be owed for this use. Attendees who wish to limit the use of close-up promotional images should contact the Organizer before the Event; reasonable efforts will be made to comply without affecting overall event documentation.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Event privacy notice made available on the Event website and/or during the ticket purchase or registration process.
7. Event Content and Recording Restrictions
Unless otherwise stated, all Event content, presentations, materials, trademarks, logos, recordings and audiovisual content remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
Attendees may not record, stream, reproduce, publish or distribute presentations, meetings, conversations or Event content without the prior authorization of the Organizer and, where relevant, the applicable speaker or rights holder.
No attendee may use the Event, its name, marks, images or materials in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation with Peakstart without prior written authorization.
8. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
Attendance at the Event, side events and use of the related services are entirely at the attendee's own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Organizer shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, reputational, special, loss-of-profit, loss-of-business or similar damages.
Any aggregate liability of the Organizer shall in any event be limited to the amount actually paid by the attendee for the relevant ticket, without prejudice to any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law, including liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or breach of public-order obligations.
The Organizer shall not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, equipment, documents, vehicles or other property brought to the Event venue, except in cases where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
The Organizer does not verify, endorse or guarantee the identity, credentials, solvency, statements, investment opportunities, business opportunities or representations made by attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors or third parties. Any interaction, meeting, negotiation or transaction occurs exclusively at the attendee's own risk.
9. Event Changes, Cancellation and Force Majeure
The Organizer reserves the right to modify the Event program, dates, venue, speakers, moderators, exhibitors, schedules, sessions or activities at any time due to organizational needs, force majeure or causes beyond its reasonable control.
Such changes shall not give rise to any refund, compensation or reimbursement claim, except where required by mandatory law.
If the Event is cancelled, the Organizer will refund the ticket face value, unless cancellation is due to force majeure or causes beyond reasonable control, and in any case subject to mandatory law.
If the Event is postponed, tickets remain valid for the new date. No reimbursement will be provided for travel, accommodation or other related expenses.
10. Matchmaking Tool – Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Matchmaking Tool provided to attendees of To The Peak. By using the tool, users agree to comply with the rules below.
- Access is granted only to To The Peak ticket holders; each account is personal and non-transferable; users must provide accurate and truthful registration information.
- The tool is for professional networking only, including profile creation, discovery and connection with other attendees, message exchange and scheduling of one-on-one meetings during the Event.
- Users must be respectful, avoid offensive, inappropriate or discriminatory language, avoid harassment or unwanted contact, refrain from spam, advertising or promotion of external services, and use the platform in good faith in line with the purpose of the Event.
- The tool is provided under a limited, non-exclusive license to run the application on the user's device for the Event's duration. Users may not modify, reverse-engineer or copy the software, use bots, scrapers or automated systems, or share access with third parties.
- All intellectual property rights remain with the Organizer or its licensors.
- The use of the tool may be needed for the access to certain side events under article 4.
11. Matchmaking Tool – Availability and Disclaimer
The Matchmaking Tool is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Organizer makes no guarantee regarding availability, functionality, compatibility, uninterrupted access or achievement of any business objective.
The Organizer does not guarantee that the Matchmaking Tool will be error-free or available at all times. The accuracy of profiles or messages is not verified.
The Organizer may suspend, limit or discontinue the tool at any time due to technical or operational needs, without prior notice. The tool is accessible during the Event and, if stated, for a limited time afterward; after that, profiles and access may be disabled.
Violation of the applicable rules may result in the immediate suspension of access.
12. Minors
Minors may attend the Event only if accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or another duly authorized adult, unless otherwise expressly permitted by the Organizer and subject to any additional requirements notified by the Organizer.
The accompanying adult remains responsible for the minor for the entire duration of attendance at the Event and any related activity.
13. Mandatory Rights, Severability, Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights, remedies or liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law, including mandatory consumer protection laws.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, ineffective or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The Organizer may update these Terms at any time. Updates may be notified by email or through the platform interface and will be effective immediately, unless otherwise stated or required by mandatory law.
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute shall be settled by the Court of Bolzano, unless otherwise required by mandatory law, including any mandatory consumer forum.
